In response to this morning's Ananova rumor that said HP5 would be delayed until 2003, CBBC Newsround reports that the next Potter book is "still set for 2002":

Rumours the latest Harry Potter book has been delayed till 2003 are wrong, according to the publisher's website. Some reports over the last few days claimed Bloomsbury said the long awaited fifth book definitely wouldn't be out till 2003. But on Monday night the publishers dismissed those reports, again repeating the statement on their website saying: "JK Rowling is happily writing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and we anticipate that we will be publishing later this year."

There's no definite release date - JK Rowling will simply announce when she's finished writing. And Bloomsbury thinks that it's still likely to be this year, in 2002.

Bloomsbury Magazine has posted the following article regarding the Hay Festival, which runs from 31 May to 9 June:

Harry Potter fans may be interested to learn of an event on 4 June, at which Tanya Seghatchian, the co-producer of the Harry film, will be talking about the transfer of Harry Potter and the Philisopher's Stone to the big screen. Questions for Tanya can be emailed to harrypotter@hayfestival.co.uk and the best ten will be published and answered on the Hay Festival website.

Dutch Harry Potter website de Lekke Ketel has posted some behind-the-scenes shots from the DVD.

Ananova reports that "JK Rowling says she found it humiliating being poor. She says her image as a struggling writer before her Harry Potter success has been wrongly romanticised."
