There are now only 83 days left until "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" hits theaters!  We are posting a quote from the first half of the book every day in celebration and to give us a chance to discuss and ponder the final book as it goes to film.  Here are today's!

Finally Bill said, "All right. Who do you want to talk to first?"
Harry hesitated. He knew what hung on his decision. There was hardly any time left; now was the moment to decide: Horcruxes or Hallows?
"Griphook," Harry said. "I'll speak to Griphook first."
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, "The Wandmaker"

i completely agree with everyone here. hallows or horcruxes? and it kind of puts harry at a crossroads on whether after all this, could dumbledore still be right with the horcruxes? or should harry start his own journey with the hallows? and in the end he lands with the hallows and the defeated horcruxes which also leaves the question still; hallows or horcruxes?

Hermy007 is absolutely right. The decision to finsih Voldemort over chasing after the Hallows was a difficult one for Harry, but he “chose wisely”. Otherwise Voldie might not have been vanquished, and as Hermy 007 says, Harry’s decision really benefited the whole wizarding world. If he had chosen to go after the Hallows he would, perhaps, have benefited in the short term, but the wizarding world as a whole would not.

I’m still interested as to how they are going to incorporate the werewolf attack on Bill in the Seventh film considering they failed to mention it in HBP

Hallows or Horcruxes? Both very important in the book, as is this scene. He makes a good decision w/ the Horcruxes. His priority needs to be to destroy them first. I still can’t wait until the movie. only 83 more days!

Horcruxes or Hallows? Guess he made he right decision in the end. Why was he worried about Hallows though? Was it because he knew then that Voldemort was after the Elder wand?

This was the best it finally shows that Harry was brought back to his senses and decided that his obsession with Hallows was foolish. I love how he finally got back to the Horcruxes.
